I brought this sago palm I inherited from my mom from a temperate Mediterranean climate (lots of fog, lots of sunshine) to Las Vegas. In the first photo you can see it beginning to drop its fronds. The ones that are yellow completely fell off and it sent a new set up. As you can see in the second and third photo, those new ones are also being replaced by a much longer frillier version. Is it happy to be in the desert? Is it crying out for something? I don't think it's been repotted in years, and that might have stunted its growth. It is maybe 5 years old. Thanks in advance!
