I have an exam tomorrow at 1pm, but I still have one assignment to submit. Is it okay if I submit it right before the exam, or do I need it submitted tonight?

I have a course ending April 30, with the exam on April 29. I originally picked that date so I'd have a bit of flexibility in case of technical issues or whatever, but now I'm worried about getting everything submitted in time. I've worked my butt off the last couple weeks and I'm almost done, but an extra day would be super helpful. It it possible to change the exam to the 30th? How would I go about doing that? I'm taking the exam through ProcorU
