Ece looking to get into early learning policy jobs

I am RECE with 4 yrs of experience in the field 2.5 as supervisor. I am going to Athabasca University for BPA- Governance, Law and Management. I am looking to get into public policy or other government positions. I feel lost and i am looking for career advise. I am currently making 65k in my current position.

What would help me get into public policy roles?

All suggestions and ideas are welcome.

B.Arts or General studies

43 Mom to 3. working full time.

The goal is to get an education degree but first I need a 90 credit degree to get into the education program. There's a chance that I decide that education isn't what I want to pursue afterwards though.

I was going to do the B.arts but to be honest the arts don't interest me. I have very little interest in history and languages etc and feel it would be hard to motivate myself to work through something I don't really care for.

So I thought maybe general studies - arts and science would be a better option as I do enjoy biology and other sciences (was a paramedic before).

that being said, are the science courses quite hard? I love biology but didn't take it in high school. Love A&P and learning about how things work. Just worried that if I do arts and science I will struggle with it.

any advice? advising said that either will fill my requirements for entering an education program later on..

Suggested courses for electives

I have to earn 6 credits in non nursing classes in humanities, social sciences, science or applied studies to finish my post RN program.

I was wondering what people liked/would suggest? Ideally something relatively easy and low stress that could help compensate for my poor grade in math215.

Thanks!!

PSYC 451 - Neuropsychology

Hey Psychology Students — has anyone tried their hands at the PSYC 451 Neuropsych class? I’ve already completed the Bio Psych, and loved it and am considering the 451…but looking at the outline, it’s a massive 28 chapter class. That’s a ton of information…

Any insight is helpful. I suspect challenging — let me know if it is worth it.

Thanks!
