Evening all,

In December I posted a returns parcel back to a retailer using a 5KG Parcelforce label. The parcel weighed around 3.2KG, but the post office never put it on the scales and entered just 500G on the receipt.

The retailer initially said they couldn’t find the parcel. They’re now claiming only one item was returned, which isn’t true - the packaging alone weighs close to 1000G, so 500G is impossible regardless of contents.

Two questions:
• Is there any way to get the actual posted weight confirmed after the fact?

•	Why would the receipt show 500G when the parcel wasn’t weighed at all?

I’ve posted several parcels since and noticed the receipt weights are wrong on those too, so this looks like a wider issue at my local branch rather than a one-off.
