Previously had a 51mm Epix pro gen 2, and then I switched to Apple watch as a failed experiment.
I bought a new Garmin Fenix 7 Pro Sapphire Solar last week. Couldn't resist the price. I'm really disappointed with the battery life, thinking it would be a battery monster.
I transferred the settings from my Epix pro. I think the settings are fairy standard, Pulse Ox only in sleep, I use a standard garmin watch face, around 5 hours of GPS training per week. Not a lot of lot of solar charging as I work in an office. Not sure if I'm missing something.
Claimed is 19-22 days. From what I can see people are getting minimum 13–15 days of life real world.
After 7 days I have 30% battery, so 10% per day so expect 10 days total. From memory I got quite a bit more than this with my Epix (without always on screen).
Does this seem wrong, and should I be looking to get this returned / exchanged?
