It’s nice to finally be part of this group :)
I finally got my hands on a Miata.
I was initially looking for a 2003 NB2, but at the time, there weren’t any in mint condition here in the Boston area.
I ended up settling for a 2000 LS with 58k miles—zero rust and in mint condition. I had to drive all the way to Burlington, VT to get it. The gentleman I bought it from wouldn’t budge on the price, so we settled at $9,900.
At 58k miles, the timing belt has never been replaced.
I’m looking to DIY this project and wanted advice from you guys on which kit to order.
I don’t mind spending the extra money for OEM, but I see there are kits online that pretty much include everything.
Any suggestions would be highly appreciated!!
