I have read multitudes of topics on the topic of the latency being all over the place in Europe.
I wouldn't make this topic but unfortunately I read literally nothing conclusive. People just shooting in the dark, or blaming it on Frankfurt, or European routing issues and don't know what else.
Considering the earlier posts were 4-5 months old, has there been any progress yet?
Cause as many others described it, my base latency is around 30ms, yet it randomly spikes to 200-300. I wouldn't mind it being 200-300 and steady, but these fluctuations make it unplayable. And no, this is definitely a POE issue, as I play a bunch of other online games like CS2 or FFXIV and my latency there is rock stable.
Could this be some technical/hardware issue masked as latency? I m on a pretty beefy wired connection, with the game on an NVME drive, with a 3080, 32gb, 5600X, latest W11 updates, nvidia drivers, bios etc.
I emailed support and they literally told me they don't offer tech support at the moment and sent me off to the forums. This is crazy, I m literally a paying customer and need support with my product. It's not the job of other random customers to offer said support, what the f.
To make matters worse, I went and bought the game from their site instead of steam so doubt I ll get a refund. Lesson learned!
