I don't understand what's the logic behind pending the payment. I understand if they payment is coming for the first time from someone, they hold it for a while.

But sometimes payment get into account within minutes, sometimes within 2 to 3 days and sometimes takes even more than a week (from the same client). And not even the payments are like huge, every payment is less than $500. Is there any way to avoid this surprised delay everytime? Any insight on the reason for this hold and how to avoid is appreciated.
