Hi! I’m an ARMY and i know this isn’t the right place but i’m looking for other ARMYs going to BTS’s concert!
28F. Appreciate it if you’re around my age and you’d be going to all 4 times because 1 just isn’t enough!!
We can also talk about korean dramas or other topics we find similarities in!
A short rant about how old people think using the old card give them free passes everywhere especially in public transports!!!!!
I was first in line after my previous bus LEFT infront of my eyes so i thought “nevermind i’ll wait for my next bus” because i’m not in a rush to go anywhere (yes i am but i’m not the kiasu singaporean). Minutes later, an elderly came up infront of me CLAIMING my place. Mind you i heard NOTHING he said but his body language was very clear to me, signalling me to LEAVE because he wants to stand at my spot. Need i remember you i was FIRST in line. No one was after me and he clearly could’ve went in to stand after me.
Now you may wonder how sure am I that he is asking for my spot. I made space for him to walk past like how everyone else does when someone wants to cross over. I did that and he did not move an inch. Instead he stood there, waiting for me to give him my spot. Some of you will be nice enough to give your spots and say “its not a big deal”. Well i had a bad day and i’m tired from work, from people being inconsiderate the entire day and sleep deprivation obviously. He was also shoving his bags towards me to make me give up my place for him. I don’t usually get upset over things but the fact that he was using his “old” card and shoving things pissed me off. He also had the audacity to fart in my face and sent the fresh laundry aroma to me.
IS IT THAT BAD TO STAND 2ND IN LINE? You still have the entire bus to yourself, you still GET TO SIT AND NO NEED TO RUN FOR IT. IT’S NOT THE END OF THE WORLD IF YOU STAND FOR A SHORT WHILE? I’m not talking about an hour journey. That bus only takes max 35-40 minutes to the next interchange. Doesn’t make sense for you to take the bus from one interchange to another when you could’ve taken the MRT which is only 2 stops. I don’t get it…….
I do not hate old people but some of them be acting like kings and queens of this world. They think they own everyone and are entitled to everything simply because they’re OLD.
Do you guys have similar stories that made you feel some type of way with disrespectful people? Or that they use the old card on you by being disrespectful?
Edit: empty seats everywhere because it was a bus from the interchange
