Might sound like a stupid generalised opinion, but we've had an assignment about the famous stereotype of hr being "evil" and we had to uncover the reality behind this "stereotype" by interviewing hr professionals, ahem, from +40 hr contacted, 1 answered, and admitted that only a minority of hrs are good, while the majority forgot where they came from.

As for that, i chose to change the route of this project, and ask people this instead: Judging from your experience, how would you describe hr personnels.
