Needless to say their recent announcement of the restructuring means they finally concede that their global funds strategy, that once managed $60 billion, is a melting ice cube. The other strategies (Global Infrastructure, Airlie) are also in the toilets. Now the thing that is left is a hodge podge collection of other people's businesses that they repeatedly handed out money and diluted existing shareholders (Vinva, Barrenjoey). Their two top dogs made $1.5m and $3.5m last year and most of what they did was paying to bankers to move money around. Weirder is they just shifted their global fund to Vinva who they owned - isn't this a massive conflict? Can somebody launch a class action so as shareholder I can join please? I'm selling today but what a joke.
