i got rid of scabies even tho it made me go slightly insane

hi thought before disappearing off of this subreddit after weeks of checking it and posting and over treating i finally got rid of it, over treating will definitely give u some sort of skin reactions but it sure gets rid of scabies, would you rather boob eczema or scabies…i chose boob eczema for 2 weeks, but anyways if anyone is like me absolutely turned hysterical after finding out and i mean HYSTERICAL it goes away faster than you think, i may be super deluded but i think it’s gone i don’t itch or have any burrows or spots, the method was permethrin the normal 2 times application and i just lathered myself in dermac m every few days and steam cleaned anything fabric and kept my clothes in bags for 20 days (excessive but worked) and washed the clothes and sheets on 60, i never got around to using that horse medication some research recommended because i didn’t want to stoop to horse level so fast if human meds worked, and an even easier method which my dad did was keep permethrin on for a day (not medically recommended but worked) and i somehow didn’t give it to my bf after 4 days of sleeping in his bed and on him before i knew i had scabies, the moral of the story is it’s okay to be extra or i was just lucky, staying humble so i don’t get this stuff out of karma again, last piece of advice stay away from university accommodation if you don’t want to spend excessive money on scabies treatment
