Hey everyone, I could really use some advice from people who’ve gone through this.

My dog is 12.5 years old. Over the past few months, walking has become difficult and he is in pain quite often.

Right now I’m giving:

Condrovet Large (joint support)

Fish oil

He also had a couple of cycles of pentosan injections.

In the last two months, I have to give him carodyl and pregamyl for 5 days straight to help him with pain and sleep. But this is not long term.

I will of course keep working with my vet, but I wanted to hear real experiences from people who’ve had older dogs with joint pain or mobility issues.
