After 10th, I chose science and joined an integrated NEET coaching school. I was in an “AIIMS 2025” batch and genuinely thought medicine was going to be my future.
But somewhere during 11th and 12th, I realized I was also deeply drawn toward art, design, aesthetics, observation and creativity. So in 2025, along with NEET, I started giving almost every entrance exam possible because I honestly didn’t know where I truly belonged.
My 2025 entrance exam list:
- NID
- UCEED
- JEE BTech Session 1
- JEE BArch Session 1
- IAT
- CUET English
- CUET Physics
- CUET Chemistry
- JEE BTech Session 2
- NEET
I worked extremely hard but somehow didn’t get admission into a college that felt right for me. And I didn’t want to join a random college just for the sake of joining somewhere.
So I took a drop year in 2026 mainly for BDes entrance preparation. I prepared intensively for UCEED and NID. I thought this was finally going to be “my thing.”
But again, things didn’t work out.
And then something unexpected happened.
Out of nowhere, I gave JEE BArch Session 2. I hadn’t even written Session 1. Architecture was never my main plan during my drop year.
But somehow this exam gave me the result none of the others did.
Final result:
99.4 percentile in JEE BArch
It honestly feels strange looking back at everything now.
The path I chased the hardest never opened.
But the path that quietly matched both sides of me — science + creativity — opened at the very end.
Maybe some journeys are less about getting your first dream and more about slowly discovering where you actually belong.
