allodynia (bruised all over feeling)
I just started trizepatide after being on semaglutide for about 2 years.
I was on 2.4mg of sema for about a year until the effects started wearing off completely and I started gaining weight again.
My provider who administered my sema, was no longer servicing my state so I thought perfect time to switch not only providers but switch to trizepatide. They started me at 9mg and after some research that seems to be a high dose, but I trusted what they prescribed and took my first dose of 9mg yesterday morning. Mid day I started feeling like my shoulders were sore, and by night time my whole body felt like it was bruised from head to toe.
It seems to have happened to other people but I’m hoping it won’t happen my second dose. I woke up today in so much pain I could barely put my bra on.
Does anyone have any advice on how to deal with the pain?
Also yes I messaged my provider this morning and haven’t heard a response yet. (Response time usually 24-48 hours)
