Hi i am new here i am asian in south east asia 34 y.o male and i have zero experience regarding dental implant and information circling this issue. So i just got informed wednesday last week that my mollar tooth that was crowned for 18 years was cracked so the dentist have no option but to extract it. We have no discussion regarding implant before this. After she did the exreaction last week she then start asking about whether i want an implant or not but i have zero knowledge about this so i ask for some time and did my research. Now the first thing i learn she is not a periodontist so i am looking for a specialist so in a few days i went around to 4 of well known periodontist and prostodontist who have the degree of implant surgery. First thing i notice is that the price are so different from cheap to super expensive.
So my question is:
There is one well known implant doctor who is also a dentist lecturer he is using strauman and his cost is the most expensive compared to general dentist who use the same strauman. Is it worth it? But yesterday i went to a wellknown family of periodontist he said he have all the brand in his inventory including straumann but he said everyone is different and not everyone can use straumann it depend on the gum and bone of the person he said. His price is the cheapest but the brand of the implant according to him is not the most important but compatibility he offer if i want a strauman with the same price he can give me since he is not sponsored , but he cant guarantee the success if it is not compatible with my gum and bone. My question is which one sound like the most expert here?
The other question is that i just knew that you can do extraction and implant at the same time. I knew this from the lecturer implant doctor i mentioned. Now the lecturer said since i miss the timing i need to wait for 2 months before implant procedure. But here comes the family periodontist he said doesnt matter the sooner i do the implant the better the result compared to waiting longer time like 2 months. So he said extraction and then implant was the best option but since you miss a week or two still better than waiting two months. It is because he asked if i got an infection with the extraction and how easy was the extraction. I told him the extraction was quite smooth and fast like 1-2 minutes the old lady dentist pulled it out fast and clean. So he guessed there was no infection and the gum was clean and can do implant immediately. So now which one is true? Do i need to wait 2 months or even after a few weeks i can do the implant immediately for better results?
This is my first time going for implant i am very nervous and sad i lost my teeth after 18 years i have tried to clean it and maintain it but it broke due to hard food getting chewed on weird angle. Now i am nervous since this is my first experience and it is very expensive i dont want to pick the wrong practitioner need advice . Thank you.

Hi guys i am new here. I am 34 y.o and lose my crowned teeth recently due to biting hard food without me noticing. The crowned teeth has been with me 18 y.o. i have never get an implant and the idea of putting an object permanently in my skull actually terrifies me. But i have no other option since i am still young and denture is not the way. Bridges will sacrifice the back and front teeth so it is also not the way. So i have asked around my local dentist who is very well known for dental implant and i found the price varies even when they all use straumann. The first dentist that use strauman is the cheapest since she is a general dentist not prosto or perio while the other two is more expensive since they are the specialist. Also recently i found a very cheap alternative with specialist local dentist it is like 1/4 the price compared to the first three but this one use Dentium and the doctor is very young and recently established. So i want to ask for opinion here from people who have experience should i go to the best specialist with strauman implant but cost a lot in my wallet or the cheapest which is dentium or the middle the general dentist with strauman? Thank you for your opinion and advice.
Edit: i meet another popular periodontist in my area. He said that he will see my jaw and bone and choose the best suited implant for it. The price is in the middle and quite comfortable for me. The problem is he suggest to do the implant now and i just did the extraction last week. Is it okay to do implant now instead of waiting 2 months?
