Hello, I want to bring that fix for all the users of Asus TUF F15 / A15 and other models suffering of Inverse Ghosting because of the known display issue working with GSYNC and Overdrive.

I have the FX507VV with the sRGB 100% 1080p 144hz display and I was strugling a lot with that inverse ghosting issue.

After a lot of research, found the reason and found the "fix".

The problem is just the low response times of that display working along with GSYNC and Overdrive that overshoots the pixel at lower refresh rates (when GSYNC sync the refresh rate on low FPS and the display cannot handle it propperly).

For me, the final fix was just to change the minimum "VRATE" to 72 with CRU tool (be careful what you touch there, it's not dangerous but if you change something outside the range of the display, you may get a black screen until you revert the changes, anyway you'll need to confirm the change in 15 seconds, otherways it will revert the settings automatically).

This gonna make activate the LFC (Low Framerate Compensation) sooner, when FPS are below that threshold and will double the refresh rate of the display preventing the inverse ghosting appears because of the low refresh rate.

* After making the change on CRU, run restart64.exe as admin included the CRU folder, this just gonna restart the display driver.

Additionally, set maximum FPS to 141 on NV Control Panel, set "Prefer máximum performance" on Power control mode and depending on the game try also with Ultra Low Latency Mode and VSYNC activated on the control panel, BUT NOT ON THE GAME. Also, I have Overdrive disabled in GHelper. With this you can still enjoying GSYNC without the inverse ghosting happening all the time.

That's all.

Try and thank me later, hope this helps, have a nice day 😄.
