So, he's 25 and I'm 29. I'm from SEA and he's from NZ. We were each other first real, committed relationship. We've been in and out of this relationship for around 3 years. We've been trying for it to work but it didn't resulting in us breaking up for 4 times. They were mutual breakups, we didn't fight, and we always said we still loved each other so much.
Every time we broke up which lasted for less than a month, he always came back. Until this most recent one, it was long distance and it was too much for us to handle given the distance, all of the bottled up problems in the pat. So of course, we did break up again for the 4th time. It just happened 2 weeks ago. This time we were really exhausted of this 'relationship turning to situationship' thing. So we agreed that we will still remain friendly, but never get back together nor talk to each other for at least 6-7 months, or maybe not at all, unless we have to help each other (our monthly stuff).
So, today, after we finished our monthly business on whatsapp, I continued asking about how his life's been and stuff. But this time he really did what we promised each other which was trying not to talk. He answered me with quite limited words and didn't continue the conversation.
Now I'm wondering if he really stops feeling for me, if he realizes now that he doesn't want to talk to me anymore, or what? Because from my side, I know that we will never get back together as partners anymore, wished we could talk about random things. Maybe I'm too impatient to resume our friendship?
