Hi all!
Brand new to this group and the 924 lifestyle, recently picked up a 1977 924 running and driving condition. The main issues are cosmetic and the one mechanical issue is that the fuel tank is rusted, and it is running on a temporary fuel cell.

I have heard that replacing the rear hatch struts can be difficult and to be extra cautious as people have smashed their rear hatch glass before. Is this a real concern? videos on YouTube seem to do it so simply.
Let me know if any of you have experience in doing so.
