For context, I have both a 4k and 1440p monitor, however I have built a new PC and got a free 4060 for the build. I’m wary about being able to play a lot of titles in 1440p at high settings/frame rates, but I know that 4K can scale evenly to 1080p. Should I set my games to 1080p and game on the 4K monitor instead of the 1440p, or should I make a change and get a 1080p monitor instead?

Long story short, I was gifted a 4060 8gb card along with 32gb DDR4 and a couple other components that lead me to build a rig with those along with a Ryzen 7 5800XT. I have been a Mac user previously and already had peripherals, one 1440p 180hz monitor and a 4K 144hz monitor. I know it won’t handle gaming in 4K but will it be able to run on the 1440p one? I mostly play games like Fortnite, Rocket League, ARC Raiders, but also enjoy games like Forza and want to be able to play Horizon 6 when it comes out and get at least close to the refresh rate of my monitor. Am I out of my mind or is this card more capable than the reviews say?
