What does my dad want me to know?

Trying for the first time to connect to my old man (who has passed) through tarot. I didn't really use a spread, just asked if there was anything he wanted me to know and pulled three cards.

I interpret this as him having a lot of love that he wasn't able to express well. Our relationship was incomplete. Perhaps that he's asking me to let go of him and not make the same mistakes.
