TLDR what's the white fluffy stuff on new new snails?

Picked these three guys up from my LFS on Saturday. Noticed yesterday they hadn't moved at all, did some searching online and found it to be normal, picked them up and smelled them to check they weren't dead (slightly salty smell but nothing putrid). Popped them back on this log rather than the sand. Today I've found they've still not moved and two now have this white, mulmmy stuff coming off them.

I've found one reference online to "stress slime" but nothing definitive.

Can anyone tell me what it could be? Thanks.
