How could I make his enclosure even better?

Pippin is still very young, somewhere between 8-10 weeks old. I've slowly made his enclosure bigger and added more things since I got him. Right now he spends time here, about a 5ftx5ft space and about an hour a day free roaming my living room/kitchen/dining room area but I am still in the process of bunny proofing. He's still mastering potty training but has done a fantastic job so far, he's also still a little skittish and my biggest concern with free roam is he's still very young, delicate, and I don't want him to eat anything bad or get scared and run off somewhere he's hard to find.

I'm currently in the process of remodeling my semi finished basement and making it his free roam area, while working on it I can actively think about things that would be best for a bunny proofed area. My basement is big and already has a tile that has a grooved design and isn't slippery, but we're considering going ahead and laying carpet. Size wise it's the same layout as my top floor, only the kitchen, dining and living rooms are just combined into one big room, then there's a bathroom, a laundry room and a storage room. I can easily close off the access to these rooms.

So, while I tackle these projects and get bunny proofed for more free roam time, how can I make this enclosure even better? He currently has 2 bowls one for water and one for pellets, a bunny hide, a litterbox (all of these strategically placed in the corners bc he's a sucker for peeing in a corner still plus give him running space) a snufflemat, toys, chew sticks, a hay bag and trough. Is there anything I'm missing? Also any advice while remodeling the basement for him would be appreciated 😊 I just want to make sure I'm doing everything I can to make his bunny life amazing.

This is a no tickle zone!

Do not touch the floof butt, this is a NO touching zone!

Oh my God, I *can't* even believe you reached across like that, I can't even *believe* it!

(He loves when I pretend like I'm going to tickle him lol)

My girl is looking more like a boy and I need a new name

I took "Tilly" to the vet today to just get examined and get any possible vaccinations, the vet started examining and looked at the gender and said "I don't know, this is looking a little penile" 😂 she said it's incredibly hard to tell at this age and even she could be wrong, she said she'll know for certain when we go back for neutering in a few months.

So, bunny fam, can you help me out? I'd like a name that is more gender neutral. I also tend to like names that give off farm, cottagecore, southern, whimsical vibes ❤️ Also as far as personality so far my bunny is very playful, silly, and shows me a lot of love already.

Ps- the vet said he/she is in perfect health, a good weight for my estimation of age, and it sounds like what I'm doing as far as care is right on track. My bun also did amazingly well with being picked up by the vet and was so good for her 🥹

ETA update:

I looked again myself and I'm pretty convinced he is in fact a he. I think I've fully decided on Pippin. Lord of the Rings is my favorite book/movie series and I just can't get over how much he reminds me of Pip. Plus I'll be able to say "Fool of a Took!" When he does his silly shenanigans. Meet Pippin ❤️

Should I be discouraging my young bunny from nibbling me?

My little bun Tilly has come out of her shell so much in the past couple of weeks. I am so overjoyed that she seems to be trusting me so much, she is veryyyy playful. When I sit in her enclosure to give her attention and to bond with her, she starts nibbling at me. At first it was pretty timid and curious and now it's like she's still just trying to play but she's not scared to do it at all anymore. She digs at me with her front paws and then nibbles on my clothes. I don't think she's being aggressive, she doesn't bite me when I stroke her, hand feed her, even when I've had to pick her up and she hates that. So should I discourage her? Right now I just go "ahh!" In a high pitched voice and then she takes off running in circles and then comes right back and tries to do it again like it's a game haha

I sing her a song I like to call Happy Lil BunBun and it does indeed make her happy 🥹

I went "ahh!" Because she tried to nibble on my knee 😂

Update on Tilly the binkie baby ❤️

I just got done setting up her new pen, I like this pen because I could buy more panels and just make it bigger and even put a roof on it if that becomes an issue when I'm not around. It worried me at first that it wouldn't be sturdy enough but then I put zip ties everywhere and it felt super secure. She is a happy bun, I got lots of dances and she even put her paws up into my hands 😭♥️ the grass hut in the corner does pose an issue because she loves to climb on top of it and at that height she could jump out so I took it out and I'm gonna replace it with a bed that should be here today. I'll keep the hut though for when we ease into free roaming my living room so she has a place to hide when she's nervous. I also have a rug I plan to put under the pad because the floor is pretty hard and I still think she needs more cushion but I'll have to move everything and for right now I just want her to be happy and explore. I think a good time to do that will be on Wednesday when she has her vet appointment and I have to move her anyways. Thank you guys for answering all my questions and helping me on this journey!

I'm new to rabbit ownership, my bunny Tilly is about 7 weeks old, just a baby. Right now we're working on potty training her and I have a vet appointment set up for vaccines and then we're setting a date for neutering so right now I have her in this set up until we get more comfortable letting her free roam. I'm still terrified of the idea of her escaping a different pen and me losing her in my house, she's so tiny.

But lately she's been doing this kind of spazzy thing where she jumps around and shakes her head, what does that mean? I hope it means she's happy and just playing but I'm worried it could mean she's itchy or something.

Also if it is her wanting to play does anyone have any suggestions for the best rabbit toys? Thank you!
