I’m trying to make a final decision between a few FUE hair transplant options and would really appreciate input from people who have had surgery with any of these clinics/doctors, or who have compared them seriously.
I have advanced male pattern hair loss (NW 5).
The clinics/doctors I’m considering are:
1. HDC Cyprus
Price: €2.30/graft.
Surgery over 2 days.
One patient per day.
Accommodation/transport: 7 nights included.
2. Clinica de Freitas
Surgery over 2 consecutive days.
3. Dr Gur / FUECapilar
Premium package: €2.20/graft, around €6600–7700, extraction and incisions by Dr Gur.
Standard package: €4300, incisions by Dr Gur only.
Primary package: €3000, neither extraction nor incisions by Dr Gur.*
Hospitality package: €300 for 2 nights accommodation and transport.
Payment: day of operation, cash, 20% more for card payments.
0.8–0.9 mm punch.
Small incisions, around 1 mm.
They claim very low transection/graft damage rates.
Single-day surgery, which they said can be tiring because of lying still for so long.
HRN recommended.
Premium package gives direct doctor involvement in extraction and incisions.
4. Dr Demirsoy / Armamed
- Doctor-only extraction/incision package: €1.80/graft cash, minimum fee €3600. All incisions and extractions by Dr Demirsoy.
- Shared extraction package: €1.50/graft. Incisions by Dr Demirsoy, extraction shared between Dr Demirsoy and nurse.
- Assisted extraction package: €1.20/graft. Incisions by Dr Demirsoy, extractions by nurse with 16 years’ experience.
Technical details:
0.7–0.8 mm punch.
One patient per day.
Single-day surgery.
