Every time Acrobat updates it changes my default save location back to the Adobe Cloud. I uncheck the box in preferences to save locally but a few days later it resets. I handle confidential client files and cannot have them automatically uploading to their servers without permission. I tried the old registry edits to block cloud saving but the new update overrides them completely. There seems to be no permanent fix anymore. Has anyone found a way to actually block this or is it just time to abandon Acrobat completely.

Edit: Thank you guys I ended up using pdf nitro pro. I found a lifetime subscription by searching pdf nitro keypunch.
