No, Wero won't replace all existing payment solutions

I recently read here few comments that are very confidently incorrect about Wero and I can see that a lot of people don't really understand it. So few bullet points about it:

* Wero is not European Union initiative, it was created and is operated by consortium of private banks, called European Payment Initiative

* Wero WON'T replace each payment solution that already exist in (almost?) all European countries

* EPI acquired iDeal and Payconiq to build Wero on top of them, this is why Wero will replace them in countries they operate in

* Wero will replace Paylib in France and Giropay in Germany, because banks that run these 2 solutions are also among owners of Wero, so they shut them down for more modern solution.

* But Wero won't replace Bancomat, Bizum, MB Way, Vipps, Blik and many more

* payment systems mentioned above (and many more) are part of EuroPA alliance, which was created to allow interoperability among all those systems

* EPI and EuroPA signed a deal that all of them will also interoperate with Wero in future

Edit:

* Wero will be used only in a few countries, and won't expand to all 27 members of the EU
