Hey everyone,

I’m planning to make some changes to my build and wanted to get some input as I have been out of the PC building space for a few years.

Right now I’m running a pretty tight ITX setup and honestly, I think I pushed it a little too far in terms of thermals and airflow. I am having to use my system a lot for school and projects, plus gaming. I’m planning to move everything into an NR200 for better airflow and overall usability, while maintaining some compactness. That was actually my favorite case I’ve used before I went full ITX crazy.

Current specs:

  • i7 12700K
  • MEG Z690I Unify
  • 64GB DDR5 6000
  • RTX 3090
  • Corsair SF750
  • NZXT Kraken Elite 240
  • SSUPD Meshroom (Mini-ITX)

Planned changes:

  • Move back into NR200
  • Swap AIO for a solid air cooler
  • Upgrade CPU (still deciding what direction to go)

Main goal is better thermals, less noise, and just a cleaner, more practical setup.

Curious what you all think:

  • Worth upgrading from the 12700K right now or ride it out longer?
  • Best air coolers for NR200 with a 3090 in the mix?
  • Any gotchas going back to NR200 with newer components?

Appreciate any feedback 👍
