Every time I drive past Grant Elementary on Broadway while the school zone is active (early morning with the lights flashing on the signs), people seem to just completely ignore it. Whenever I drive slow past the school, I’m always getting tailgated and passed, and this happens every single time I drive through there while the school zone is active. Does nobody care about the school zone? Is it too much to ask to drive slow through that 200 yd stretch with little children running around?

I recently moved here from out of state and in the area I come from, school zone speed limits are slower and very aggressively enforced. Watching people just flagrantly violate it here is simply baffling to me.
