A Small Update on Mark Hansen's Classic Camera Repair
As some r/AnalogCommunity members, including myself, have had recent issues with Mark Hansen's Classic Camera repair, I wanted to provide a small update on my attempts to reach him.
After 10-months of no response from Mark regarding my Rollei repair, I reached out to the local PD in his hometown for an update. It's entirely possible that something may have happened to Mark, or that he may have moved, so I wanted to verify that he was both residing at his place of business in Stevens Point and alive and kicking.
The local PD was able to verify that a wellness check had been performed on Mark recently and that he is both alive and well and residing at his place of business.
While the PD is unable to share details I was given the impression that I am not the first person to call local authorities looking for him or to enquire about his status. I believe other customers may have also contacted the local PD after months of silence from Mark looking for some resolution to their issues.
I do hope that, at the very least, we all get our cameras back at some point. I no longer care about the repair and would just like my personal property returned in a timely manner.
