Help with Mississippi Travel Ideas & Stays
We’re planning our yearly trip to Memphis/Graceland/Tupelo, but I’m second guessing Tupelo a bit since our BNB got canceled and now second guessing. We do have one option there (we love the host), but we’re also thinking about switching it up and being a little adventurous—unless Tupelo really is the place to be?
We’re going the first week of June and looking for somewhere either near a charming downtown (a mall nearby is a bonus for my teens, not a need at all) or something more country but still close to a good town area. I’ve heard the Ole Miss area is pretty lively—would that be a good option? My girls are 15 and 13, for reference.
I’m not super familiar with this part of Mississippi, but ideally we’d stay within about an hour of Tupelo (maybe 2 if it’s really worth it 😂 would rather not go more south. I’m conflicted though ).
Any advice or must-see spots along the way to Tupelo would be so appreciated—thank you!!
