Memphis fans - articulate the possible Boozer/Edey fit
Firstly - condolences to the fanbase for Brandon Clarke. All the reporting out of Memphis says this was a fantastic dude who was a joy to have representing the city.
I am a big Cam Boozer stan and to be honest, didn't watch a hell of a lot of Memphis this year. He may not go 3, but it seems most likely at this early stage.
There has been a lot of chatter about him and Edey being a great fit. Statistically, it is clear that Edey is very effective when he plays but his low minutes load and injury history are making me a bit weary about locking him in as a long term 5 option. With this in mind, and given that I haven't seen much of Edey post Purdue, keen for Memphis fans or those who watched more to feed back:
Do we have any confidence Edey can approach 30 mpg and/or play 2/3 of a season?
How is Edey as a lob threat? I feel like he could be a big beneficiary of Boozer's elite passing
Does Edey have any ability to space the floor, or is he more of a rim only guy
How is Edey as a rim protector? Cam's defensive strength is more perimeter versus interior (where he was truly dogshit this season - speaking as a stan).
How is Edey's facilitation? if he is doubled in the post, can he get the ball out to Cam?
Happy for any other feedback, and thank you,
