I finally got it figured out and working. Does this mower sound good it sounds like something is grinding a little.

Someone the next street over from me put this on the curb. It’s a poulan pro from 2012. The mower overall was in not bad shape but I noticed and blot missing from the pull cord. The third pic shows it all how can the pull cord bracket rust. The rest of the mower is rust free. Spent hours taking the flywheel off and replacing from a donor mower with a bent shaft. After that I noticed the blade bracket was broken so had to replace that. Then swapped the carb then the primer assembly. So yeah even after that the self propelled is missing. But at least the mower works good.

First of all I put a used pull cord on it, then the carb needed cleaning, then I had to put a used gas line on it, then a new break cable, then a new blade. Went to mow and had to put a used gas cap and a used primer bulb.

John deer js60. Old blade got bent in a weird way by the old owners how does that happen also without bending the shaft.

John deer js60 or toro super recycler. Only real difference is the toro is self propelled. Both run perfectly and work the John deer still needs a little work but not bad at all.

Paid $35 for 2 mowers this one and a power smart. The guy said this one he put a new carb on and only got it to run 1 time. Cleaned the carb put a new bowl gasket on it, replaced the filter cover and fuel line and it’s fully working now. What do you think, how much is it worth.
