Im having a laparoscopic myomectomy surgery for a 12cm fibroid on May 6th. I don’t know what to expect for recovery time. In my head this is a no big deal but I fear I’m down playing it.

My problem is that my boyfriend graduated a from law school on the 15th. This was the only time they could get me in and I’m about 3 blood transfusions and 6 iron transfusions in within the past year so I just said yes because I’ve been suffering. I love down south and my Boyfriend lives about a 2 hour plane ride + 2 hour drive away. Is it feasible to try to go? Initially I thought no, but now I’m really second guessing it. Did I make the right decision in missing? What would you do?
