I also have the persistent green line issue on my phone and went through the extended warranty repair portal in the US. https://support.google.com/pixelphone/answer/16737524?hl=en After answering the questions I sent it in for what was supposed to be a free repair. The first time they said nothing was wrong and they sent it back unrepaired! I reached out to customer support and they suggested sending it in again. After inspecting it the second time they now confirmed the issue but my only options were to pay $490 to fix it or get it back unrepaired. I reached out to customer service again and while they acknowledged my frustration they did not provide any explanation as to why my phone was ineligible or offer any other solutions such as a replacement. The phone is otherwise in good condition so I am confused and upset. What is the point of having the extended warranty in place if it is not honored? There is no way to actually communicate with the repair center and customer support has been unhelpful. Has anyone else had this issue and been able to resolve it with either a free repair or replacement through the extended warranty program, or is this just a shell game when the official policy is to invalidate all repair requests? I am nowhere near a uBreakiFix so can't walk it in for a repair.
