Some apps seem to be in the background draining lots of battery despite me not actively using it. Does it explain the excessive drain though? And that 10% usage from Camera being open a total of 3 minutes taking a few photos of my cat wtf.
Battery health is 93% according to the phone, but I'm not sure how accurate this is. I've had this phone since Aug 2024.
Why does astronomy mode look like an oil painting? 😭 First picture is a zoom into the second picture. Not good at all, pixelated would be understandable but this... what is this?!

My warranty ended last month March 15th 2025 and I just had a green line on my screen after it was on my table. I used it and placed it on the table and the next time I turned on the screen there was a green line on right side near the battery icon from top to bottom. It went away after i restarted the phone but the line stayed till the pixel logo. This phone is barely a year old and has never been out of a case and tempered glass. I did some research and this is a well known issue and Google is giving out extending display replacements but this is unacceptable. I'm sure those replacement displays will also cause this issue in the near future once their display replacement program ends. I was planning to keep this phone but might exchange it now and get some value rather than getting the warranty denied by third party service providers. Ps. I bought this phone from bestbuy in US unlocked.

I wanted to post here, but I have noticed something a bit alarming lately with my phone.
Just today, the phone has restarted randomly 3 separate times, and this is something that began happening recently with no rhythm or reason behind it. To preface, I pre-ordered this phone and have had it effectively since launch, with no issues at all prior to now.
However, I do have a couple of theories. I noticed that this behavior began **after** I changed my Google Account's gmail address, as this feature came online recently; it's possible this messed with the firmware to an extent that it's breaking functions of the phone. It could also be an issue with the recent security update, but if so, it also was present in the March update and has persisted into the April update. Of course, the worst-case scenario is that it's a hardware issue that simply can't be addressed without full-blown replacing the phone.
Has anyone else experienced anything like this? If so, was there a way you fixed it? Any guidance is greatly appreciated.
