This school sucks

Not clarifying or making information about how fees and payments occur and need to be paid for summer sessions is fucking ridiculous. They say to check your account, it shows a disbursement that is incorrect because it doesn’t calculate your credits correctly, but no obvious way to know this unless you’ve been through it before. Then find out you have to pay out of pocket, it’s a separate college that does the session, they answers calls for 3hrs only, and in the end fin aid doesn’t cover you and you get taken for $1000+ on only 2 classes. A continuing trend of Sac state not meeting students halfway. I wouldn’t be in this situation if the school provided enough classes for the amount students they’re enrolling. If this is the norm for universities, I get why so many people deride funding for higher education. All this sneak thievery and the dumb piece of shit president Wood is smiling as he tells us he’s spending literally THAT money on sports and junk maybe 10% of the schools students actually use. Fuck CSUS, never having to come back here again will be more rewarding than the degree.

The school really needs to do something about these desk chairs. Sitting for even 30mins is uncomfortable and by 90mins or 3hrs it’s downright painful. It’s a physical challenge to make it through a class and it takes a huge toll on the ability to pay attention and participate. We still have facilities that are worse than the CC’s and some high schools, but it’s ok to expand the campus and open a new stadium. Cannot wait to leave this place and never come back. Slightly embarrassed I have to have my credentials attached to this place. 2/10 would never recommend
