My son’s account has been hacked and I need help getting it back somehow. If anyone has information that could help, please share. Unfortunately he did not lose it recently. I believe it has been sold and being actively used by another person. The issue is only specifically connected to Microsoft store and the Minecraft launcher/account. The rest of my Microsoft account is normal and within my control. I have proof of purchasing the account. Please I am willing to do anything to get this back for him. When I go into the Minecraft launcher login it’s the correct email but the code would send it to the wrong phone number. I’ve searched online and have a little hope but I’m unsure what steps to take. I’m really not seeing too much online though. Reddit has been somewhat helpful with past stories but it is a bit demoralizing to see Microsoft’s failure to help. He has dedicated much time to his builds, this means a lot to him. Any suggestions would be helpful, thank you.
