Hi all, I’m not an expert on houseplants but I’ve had this Monstera for about 5 years now and she’s been pretty healthy overall! She’s lost a few leaves but she also tends to grow one big healthy leaf a year so I’m pretty happy with her 😊
I’ve noticed though that she has two distinct stalks, one that has been consistently growing and has lots of big leaves and another that only has three small leaves and has started to droop a bit. I was wondering if it would be beneficial to remove this stalk and try to propagate it? And if so where would be best to cut it? There’s one big floating root at the bottom that goes into the soil but also several smaller nubs further up!
Any advice appreciated!
(P.s. I know my attempts at staking her up have been haphazard, if you have any tips on that it would also be appreciated 😅)
