Girls, I need an opinion 😭 Today marks exactly 2 weeks since I took the abortion pills and I took a pregnancy test. It was practically negative, but if I shine a flashlight on it and look VERY closely, I can see a very faint second line.

I wanted to know from those who have been through this: is it normal for a line like that to still appear because of residual hCG even after 2 weeks? Or when the test doesn't work, does it usually remain very positive with a strong line? 🥺

I want to share a little about what I've been going through in the last few days, because I know there might be other people going through something similar and feeling alone.

Last week, I started a medication regimen. On the second day, I had bleeding similar to menstruation, and at one point when I went to the bathroom, a jet of blood came out. The cramps were very mild at the beginning.

After a few days, I contacted the access AI to ask questions and inquired if I could take an extra dose of misoprostol, and they advised me that I could. So I took another dose.

After that, I had another episode of bleeding, this time with some clots and mild cramps. Today, almost a week after starting the whole process, the bleeding has practically stopped. My breasts are still a little sore, but they have decreased considerably.

I know it's still early, less than a week, and my body may still be adjusting. I took a pregnancy test today and the second line appeared faint, but visible, which confused me.

I took my last dose of the pills yesterday at 2:00 AM. So far, I haven’t had much pain — the cramps have been very mild, even lighter than my usual period cramps.

About the bleeding: it’s not really flowing onto the pad. It only stains it a little. But when I sit on the toilet to pee, sometimes a larger amount of blood comes out at once, like a gush. After that, when I wipe, there is still some blood on the paper. The blood looks darker and a bit thicker.

Right now, for example, I went to the bathroom and almost nothing came out, just a little when I wiped.

I’m worried because I expected much heavier bleeding and stronger pain… I’m afraid it didn’t work

Has anyone experienced this? Is this normal?
