Overheating light came on 5 minutes after service

I've just picked my car up from an MOT and major service at a Halfords affiliated garage. Dropped it off on Tuesday, they said the radiator needed replacing which makes sense as I'd had to replace the coolant several times in the last few weeks. Picked it up this morning and drove less than ten minutes before the engine overheating indicator started blinking.

I've had to park up and now letting it cool down. Will then top up with coolant and water before taking it back to the garage. Before I do, I was hoping for opinions on what fuckuppery has taken place and what, if any, compensation I can expect.

The receipt says they've replaced the coolant and the fact that they've replaced the radiator and passed the MOT means I should be able to drive the car more than 5 minutes. they also say they ran the car for an hour with no issues - not sure how that's possible

Edit - thought I'd added a picture of the coolant tank and now can't see the option. It's essentially empty.

Car is a VW up 2016 - forgot to add that

update- taken it back and they've had a look. they say it was trapped air? Confused why that issue wouldn't have appeared if they supposedly ran it for an hour

Just looking for some information on the process and what to expect.

We're looking to lease an EV in the next few months or so. We'll obviously want to test drive cars to find the one we want but the best lease deals often involve dealerships that aren't local to us.

I've gone on the manufacturer website for test drives and it directs me to local dealerships. Is it pretty well understood that if I book a test drive with them that I likely won't be leasing with them or should I expect a lot of pressure or even paperwork?

Any advice on the process for booking in a test drive would be appreciated as I'm completely new to leasing
