As some might have noticed the "o"ppda of FM 26 is in general being too high compared to real life. Even with a high press I have seen Ppda in the region of 30 and this comes I believe, from the way FM 26 teams seem to pass each other without end doing matches if allowed to. This also influence the way high press and ppda works together in the game. If I play a good team like Man City and Tottenham which have players with high attributes such as composure, first touch, tech, pass and bravery, it is almost impossible to get a Ppda of less than 15. Against lower premier league teams such as Southhampton, Watford, Burnley and so, you can get them down to 8-9 which is realistic numbers but it still leave you with the problem that you can't use high pres the way it is supposed to work in the big games unless you only look at the good results that comes from counter attacking from the middle when one of your players do get a succesful tackle and win the ball which is few and far between or simply from disrupting the opposition with fouls and interceptions high up the field. As far as I can see the main issue is that the game engine decides against trying to tackle high attribute players becsuse the risk is to high as a rule. Is their any way to get around this issue?
I do use high line press with high intensity against both weak and strong opposition but for different reasons and with different opposition instructions because of this issue. I believe it is very important that they make some kind of update to solve it.
