With so many posts asking about whether a watch is real or fake, one’s gotta wonder, if replica makers are gathering info to make the watches infallible.
I especially doubt those posts that provide little to no context.
What do you folks think?
I own quite a few designers, such BDC, Tom ford, ADG, and SPE, but I’m most obsessed with Sauvage Elixir.
I have owned a bottle of Sauvage EDP, but never really liked it much as it smelt a little powdery to me. The Elixir though, is a departure from the others in the lineup.
Opening feels rich and spicy, with grapefruit, cardamom, amber, cinnamon quite evident for me. You will smell lavender throughout. Amber is prominent too, giving it a ‘leathery’ note.
Drydown is sandalwood heavy, a mix of flowery green notes.
For me this is the best designer fragrance, it has a complex formulation and smells fantastic. However it doesent seem to have the longevity and projection people claim it has, but it’s still a very strong performer. It’s likely that I have become nose blind from over spraying or it just doesn’t work well with my skin 😂
