Planning a Salalah Trip This Eid – Need Suggestions

Thinking of going to Salalah during the Eid holidays from Dubai/UAE

Is this a good time to visit Salalah?

Would love to hear from anyone who has already explored it during Eid or summer season.

A few things I’m trying to understand:
- What’s the best way to explore Salalah? flight + local taxi, group tour, etc.?
- How many days are ideal?
- Any must-visit places or hidden gems?
- Any trusted travel partners or tour packages you would recommend?

Trying to keep it budget friendly as well 😅

Would appreciate any tips, experiences, or things to avoid.

Has anyone here successfully rented a Wasl property recently, especially in Al Qusais / Qusais Sheikh Colony?

I’m trying to understand whether my experience is normal or not.

I enquired about a unit immediately after it was listed on the website. After that, I kept following up and only received responses like:
- “Someone will contact you within 24 hours”
- “Please wait 1–3 working days”

Finally, after almost one week, I got a call saying the property had already been booked by someone else.

I’m honestly confused about how this process works because I reached out as soon as the listing appeared.

Just wanted to ask:
- Is this normal with Wasl leasing?
- Has anyone here actually managed to secure a unit through this process?
- Any tips to improve the chances of getting the apartment?

Would really appreciate hearing your experiences.
