What do people think about Mari as a standalone name? I’ve seen posts on here before, always asking for full names so they can use Mari as a nickname. I much prefer it by its own. What vibes does it give people? I’m not religious at all and I worry if people associate it with Mary and Christianity.

ETA: Mari rhymes with starry and doesn’t sound like Mary or Marie in my head.
