Not sure if this is new, but I’ve had it happen the last two times I’ve flown with my dog. Previously, I was able to change seats with no problem, and was even able to upgrade to premium or First Class (Atmos Gold). The last two times (January and last month) it would not allow me to pick seats at all. To be clear, I’ve already picked my seats when booking the flight, it’s only after adding a pet that this happens. I try to see if there are any premium class seats I could switch to before checking in.

I called Reservations and the CSA told me she couldn’t do anything on her end and I would need to talk to an agent at the airport. Agents at the airport also told me they can’t do anything on their end. So who can?

Has anyone else had this happen?
