Reno 15 PM, S25, OP13, OP15R, OP13s

I’m currently in serious "analysis paralysis" and need some outside perspective. My S22 finally gave up, and I’m looking for a replacement with a budget of around 55k INR.

Each of those phones seem to have their pros and cons and its starting to make my head spin. Because that's the list after i removed some other options. And even then, stuff like Vivo X200T, Pixel 9/Pro (second hand)... oh my.

  • Cameras: I care about them, I take a lot of pictures, but I’m not a mobile photographer/professional. The S22 was honestly 'good enough' for me. As long as the new phone is an upgrade or at least not a downgrade, I’ll be happy. This is where I’m most iffy on the 15R and the 13s.
  • Software/UI: I’ve been on Microsoft Launcher for almost a decade idk, used Smart Launcher before that, and was using Niagara before my S22 died. Origin OS freaking out with them kind of stirred me away.
  • Gaming: Barely anything intensive. I play Brawl Stars regularly, but that’s about it. I do emulate GB, NES, SNES, etc. and play other lighter games but no Genshin or Switch emulation or whatever.

The OP13 is currently on sale for 57k (12/256), which is tempting, but I keep seeing such polarizing takes on the software stability and battery life lately and software support will end sooner.

The S25 is the safe bet for familiarity, but the charging speeds and smaller battery are one of the main things I hated about the S22. I had to charge that at least once a day midway, sometimes twice. The S22's feb update cooking the phone is also just giving me pause because, I can't help but be a bit mad at samsung for that.

Reno 15 Pro mini doesn't have the best chipset, but, it's still beating a tensor g5. The cameras seem great and it avoids having ass speakers like the more expensive X9.

Decisions Decisions!

Is there any fix for this or something that I can try out? I really don't even know what information to give so I can be helped so please ask for it below. It would be a big financial burden to get a new phone right now, so I really want to avoid that.

its either looping in restart or it starts up for a while, lags so hard i would laugh but I'm pretty upset, and crashes itself into a loop again. Its really not in a usable state, to the point where i cant even get to the settings to back some things up properly. My photos and whatsapp is backed up; so that's the really critical stuff. But there's some files here that recently were lost in a hard drive failure (which was my backup) and now this has happened.

I am on whatever the latest update is for this thing. and I tried going into system recovery but there's no option to clear system cache from there.
