A character can be added to indie cross without needing to be a fighter, Niko is clearly going to be important later, especially because of the sun, and Madeline is building up to have her own character arc

We hear your complaints about how the sub is dead or filled with slop “x vs y” posts and while we are still trying to crack down on those and make people put more effort into them, we also decided to host the very first subreddit fanart contest!

The theme is:

Custom drones/rogues!

Make your own drone OC or draw art of one you already have!

Rules

The drone must be a character created by YOU. If you already have one, feel free to draw them!

You can have other characters, but the drone must be the focus. They could fight an indie character, join the rogues, or maybe even help out the main cast if you would prefer. Feel free to make up your own lore for them too!

Submissions must be labeled with the “contest submission flair” or it will not be counted.

We may remove submissions that don’t follow the rules or contain content that is banned on this subreddit. Refer to the rules for more information.

Duration

The contest will last three weeks, until the 25th of May.

Judging

Every submission will be judged by us mods instead of voted on by the community. This is to make sure nobody downvotes submissions they don’t want to win, and also to make sure each submission is considered and not buried under others. Judging will not start until after the 25th.

Prizes!

Whoever wins first place will have their submission permanently pinned as well as given a custom flair!

Second and third place will also have a custom flair, but their submissions will not be pinned.

BE RESPECTFUL!

Don’t cry if your submission doesn’t win, and don’t call someone’s art bad. If we see any unruly behavior we will remove your submission.

This contest is purely for fun, so don’t get aggressive over a custom flair.
