Scam email? This one has me baffled.
I can usually spot scam emails but this one was tough. I have looked at other Marriott email scams people have posted on Reddit, but the difference with this one is the person who signed it is also the one who I would be scheduling a call with on Calendly (usually not the case with the scams I've been sent)...
So I looked up her on LinkedIn and sure enough it's the same person and has the title "Global Officer, Talent Acquisition & Associate Development" at Marriott International. Like I found her from Marriott International's LI. And the photo she uses in Calendly is different from LinkedIn so it wasn't just scraped.
I was going to reach out and let her know scams are being sent on her behalf, but then thought, "What if this is a super elaborate scam where they actually set up a LinkedIn for her and she further convinces me it's real?"
So to Reddit I came! The biggest red flag to me is the email is reply@marriott-jobs.awsapps.com that was sent via s13.y.mc.salesforce.com but I don't know enough about recruitment to know if that automatically makes it a scam.
