We recently purchased a 2026 ford explorer. The head rest pushes my child’s Diono cambria 2 booster up forward causing a gap between the booster and cars headrests creating seatbelt placement issues and discomfort for my kid. I took the headrest off allowing it to become flush with the seat. She says it feels better now but I’m just wondering if having the headrest off is allowed? I’ve also included seatbelt placement photo with headrest off to see if placement looks okay.
