So I just turned 36 and was told via ultrasound that I have an intramural 3cm fibroid in my uterus.

I think it’s quite a-symptomatic most of the time, except for around my bleed I have such pressure in my stomach for days, I feel so swollen and gross and my periods and so painful I can’t stand on the first day.

My Gp has suggested monitor and wait and do another ultrasound in 6 months. Im not sure if I should go to a gyno and do a little more research into it?

Since “diagnosis” I’ve just been so aware of it, it’s almost like I can feel it at all times. Probably just in my head but I don’t know.

I have PMDD, mental health issues and don’t want kids.

Just not sure my next step.
